I want to be as transparent as possible, because fun contests are fair contests.

As entries come in, I will add each donation to a spreadsheet that will total and track shards by gamer tag (it is a big help if you can donate as many shards as possible at once, as I have to enter each donation manually). 

 

Although I won't be eligible for the raffle prizes, I'll track my own donations for the Trixie's Coal Mote bonus contest.

For every 40 shards you donate, you will be awarded a random, unique 5-digit raffle number.

After the event concludes, I will post the raffle numbers with a partial gamer tag the player each belongs to.

During the weekend following the event, I'll set a time to roll for all of the prizes.  You don't have to be present to win, but if you are there you can grab your prizes right way.

For each prize: I will roll once for each digit in the number, from left to right (so if the number was 12345, that means the first number I rolled was a 1).  Since I will be using an in game D20, I will only count the rightmost digit of each roll.  For example: if I roll a 19 it counts as a 9. If I roll a 20 it counts as a 0.  I will record each of the rolls and will also post them to my activity feed if anyone requests it.

The winner is the player with the raffle number nearest to the number I rolled.  In the unlikely event of a tie, I'll roll a D20 again.  If the number is odd, the lower of the tied numbers wins.  If the number is even, the higher of the tied numbers wins.
